Now that you mention it, there's a Flash Fiction Challenge every Sunday evening at 9PM. This is different from most "flash fiction" in that it's time-limited instead of wordcount limited. It's like a buffet: "Type all you can" for 90 minutes, coming up with the most coherent story you can based on the (secret, don't-mention-it-in-chat) prompt posted promptly at 9PM Eastern You don't have to start right at 9 Eastern, you can wait until it's a convenient time for you and then look at the prompt, and you have 90 minutes from that to post your story. The Flash Fiction Challenge is part of the Writing Exercises, Prompts, and Games forum.
