I saw two snakes, each at least a metre long, mating the other day. I was about 5 m from them and didn't see them cos they were in the dried grass and were yellow green. Is that awesome, or what?

In the last 3 years, I've encountered 4. Two mentioned above, one that I nearly stepped on after I came home upset over an exam. I didn't even see it in front of me until someone screamed "Look out! Snake!"

The other was a tiny baby that came up the steps to my flat. Just half a metre long and when it saw me, it immediately slithered back down the stairs. Other than those, I've seen a few teeny ones here and there.

Lovely life, no?

oh, hai! that was something. i think it confirms a rumour i heard.

the animals are forming a union; predators and prey are working together to restore harmony. i.e. that was practice. humans are next.

doesn't that just make your day? :)

Was that the one who tried to eat the alligator? Don't think we're going to see any pythons joining MENSA soon.
