Hi guys.

Some of you know that I'm job hunting, and have been some time. Ever since I graduated in May, I've been unemployed. It's been difficult to find even a part-time job.

New jobs in my field post every day, although not all at my level. The majority of entry-levels have been killed in the economy smash.

I'm asking for advice on cover letters. I've written MANY, mostly in response to Craigslist ads. I've got good experience, but a lot of listings request someone with a year or two more than me. I've got to prove to them I'm the best even though I'm on the short list, and there are thousands of people fighting for the same job.

I know all the basics--no mistakes, sell yourself, show in quantifiable terms what you can do for the company instead of what the company can do for you. But have you ever read/written a "wow" letter? How'd you do it, especially if this was a first-time job?

Any and all advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
