Hand Surgery -- ACK!

I'm not freaking out too much....I will get better.
It's an Out Patient procedure BUT.....

This is my first NaNo and I will be out of commission for at least a week.
I will have at least 10,000 words to make up!

I tried typing one handed....poor Spell Check almost blew up!

I think I will get some use out of my voice recorder after all!

Yikes! Many wishes for a super-speedy recovery...

Just don't sneeze into the voice recorder. That happened to a friend of mine and he said the results were rather, um, pornographic.

However, being that he was a true British gentleman, he wouldn't tell me what exactly it came up with.

If it makes you feel any better, at least the surgery can help you. With my fibromyalgia, when the pain strikes I have to sit and wait for it to pass (that can be weeks or months) or just groan and type/scrub/cook/whatever anyways.

Well, NaNo or not, there's never going to be a good time for hand surgery. Be glad you own the technology which allows you to write nevertheless. Be glad you live in a time when it exists. And be extra-glad to live in a time and place when whatever ails your hand can be repaired.

Oh, I do hope things go well. Ask for the good stuff going under and some more good stuff for pain while you're trying to wake up.

Luckily.....it isn't my writing hand....I could write!

I might be too loopy and it will be interesting to see what I have to write.
