M'kay, I've got a co-worker who wants to tutor online from home, with vidchat, whiteboard, file-sharing, etc. I immediately suggested NetMeeting, but I see it's been abandoned in favor of SharedView, which doesn't have audio/video capabilities (yet).

So.

Does anyone (still) use NetMeeting, SharedView, and/or Skype? Any suggestions as to what combo of stuff will do the job with the least amount of fuss for the not-terribly-tech-savvy?

Skype works really well actually. We use it all the time for online yahztee games drinking, Dungeons and Dragons and various discussion groups with folks all over the US.

If you need more of a word processor function...Combine it with Adobe Buzzword, which is an excellent online wordprocessor with a lot of sharing functions.

Way cool: researching Buzzword led me to Adobe's ConnectNow, which looks like 'zactly what she needs. Thank you!
