Studs Terkel has passed away

A great man who had a great long and productive life, pretty active and together to the end. All of us should hope for as much. We should celebrate that, as much as mourn his passing.

The really sad part is, in three days we're likely to elect a new President that Studs Terkel certainly would celebrate, too. I'm sorry he's going to miss that.

He had a great interviewing style and a gift for storytelling (nonfiction storytelling, that is).
