"Trick or Treat
Smell my Feet
Gimme' Something Good to Eat."

I can understand the first and last part but, what's up with the feet?

Happy Halloween,

Well, I used to use peppermint foot lotion - that smelled pretty nice.

That saying actually originated from the old foot fetishists manner of greeting each other. "Hey, smell my feet." But they could only do that in private. So they developed the rest of the saying so they could clue each other in that they're with a fellow foot fetishist.

"Trick or treat, smell my feet, give me something good to eat" was their password of sorts.

And well, the good to eat part doesn't refer to candy.

Ferret, that may be the scariest thing I've ever read.

Weird, I've never heard this method of greeting. Guess I missed out.

So you open the door and some snotty kid in a bad costume possibly made by his sightless mother says, "Trick or treat."

"Smell my feet" would be an inappropriate response, I'm guessing. But what are you supposed to say? What does it even mean? Would "Trick" get you arrested?

Well, you ask a question, you takes your chances on who's going to answer, ya know?

Wherever there's a ferret, there has got to be a LOLcat! Or bunny!

Because "come and meet those dancing feet" throws the meter off. Badly.
