View Full Version : Stories of Strength website is now owned by an online pharmacy for viagra

I posted in another part of SOS forum about this loss of our website for Stories of Strength. Viagra gives our stories of strength a whole new meaning. I was wondering if I was the only one that has noticed and how this happened.

If any of you have links to Stories of Strength, you should delete them now!

Hi janetr - that was never one of the domains I owned or managed, so I'm not sure who had it. The book itself is still available at Lulu, with a preview on Google books - so a link to either of those places could be pretty easily swapped out for a link to the former site.

Hi Mac, thanks for the reply. I am still very sad for the loss but such is life. Be well, janetr

The first domain I ever owned eventually became a part of Microsoft's X-Box domain list, after I let it lapse. So I must have picked a good one!

Stories of Strength is a great book. I read mine a lot last year.

Hi! Sorry about that. I did let the domain go when it came up for renewal because there were literally no more sales coming in through it anymore. It didn't make financial sense to keep it up when it wasn't making any more money for the cause. But I'm sorry I didn't think about people having links to it from their sites! Probably the best place to link now is http://www.lulu.com/content/172091 .

I don't know why they go out of their way to buy domains that don't get any more hits. I had my name turned into a .net website for a while. The real one gets like 5 hits a day. It's a bit silly, methinks.

Those who have put their Stories of Strength contribution in the AW Library should also update any links.

Charlie!! :hooray: Jenna!! :hooray:

Viagra?

I'm pretty good at turning anything into innuendo, but a penile interpretation of "Stories of Strength" escaped even my depraved mind.

Those who have put their Stories of Strength contribution in the AW Library should also update any links.

We were supposed to do that? Oops.
