For some reason, I really like movies about village cults who practice ritual human sacrifice for crops. CHILDREN OF THE CORN, THE DARK SECRET OF HARVEST HOME, and THE WICKER MAN, to name a few. Can anyone recommend some? I don't really care if the movies are good or bad, I just like them.

Episode 6 of last summer's NBC series Fear Itself (watered-down season 3 of Masters of Horror) had an episode that almost met the criteria: Community (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fear_Itself_(TV_series)) I can't personally recommend it, but YMMV.

Have you seen both versions of The Wicker Man?

Yes, and I liked the remake. People seemed to think it sucked, but I like Neil LaBute, and it was still a movie about ritual sacrifice for...well, honey is not technically crops, but it's similar. Maybe it was bad, but I like that type of story anyway.

I can recommend films about local cults who sacrifice people but not for crops.

Sorry.`

This doesn't quite fit the bill, but it does have crops and murder.

The Secret Window staring Johnny Depp

Very good movie.
