Just wondering.

What's the most requested material you've ever sent out (or heard of someone sending out) and not in the end received a single offer of rep?

I currently have 8 out, but confidence for some reason is waning. . .

I've had seven or eight fulls out on my current. The last agent requested revisions and I ended up overhauling the book. I hope the overhaul will help.

It's a good question, though -- after how many rejections should a writer consider there man be an issue with his manuscript? If you are getting requests it shows the concept is good and your query is working.

Have you heard back from all 8 already or are you in limbo?

I've got 8 full and 12 partial rejections on the work currently on submission. I've also got 7 partials/fulls outstanding.

What keeps me going is the fact that the one editor I've subbed to has requested revisions twice. Still working on the second set.............

(oh and my confidence has officially waned)

Eight are in limbo. I've already had one rejection, last week. Not enough action for him. Hope the other eight don't concur. Maybe I'm on this board too much--maybe it causes a constant second-guessing of one's material to read so much about everyone else's successes and failures...or maybe I'm just whining and I should grow up and develop a second hobby to kill the hours.
