I find that "odd" is a frame of reference. Out in the real world (wherever the heck that is) I'm odd.

Here, I'm normal. :D

Everyone is odd. Those that don't appear odd are simply better at concealment. In this respect someone who is really normal is actually odd...which makes him normal.

I however, would best be described as weird. Where odd is a pleasant word that could apply to unusual children; she's so odd, bless her little heart -- weird is closer to a warning; you are f'ing weird, dude, which tends to inspire images of people running for safety. Weird is odd but odd isn't necessarily weird.
