Thanks. I've followed them through 10 years of absurd futility, so seeing them win now is mind-blowing. Their payroll is about one/twentieth of the Red Sox or Yanks.
Goes to show what I've been saying forever - money doesn't always buy talent or make that talent actually play like a team.
It's great to see both TB and Philly make it - a nice change. But I don't know who I'm going to root for...

You want futility try going from 1918 until 2004 for a Series win that my friend is futility.
Actually the Sox really didn't deserve to beat the Rays, their hitting was nonexistent and the pitching just tanked. As much as it pains me to say, the better team absolutely won. Congrats, good luck and enjoy the World Series!!!
But just wait til next year, a healthy Mike Lowell, a full season without Manny just you wait, you'll see the Great Pumpkin will rise out of the pumpkin patch...
