Finally, finally, the day has arrived. My first novel, but hopefully not my last, New Frontier, was released today by Liquid Silver Books.

From the book sample:

The vision flashed and was gone, and the only injured man was silent at her feet. Silent and bleeding and dying at her feet.

That was good. I know it's a standard writer's trick -- to repeat a line with more detail, in order to flag it as important -- but I liked it nonetheless.

It seems like high quality for erotica. I assume this is erotica in the romance vein, not in the porn vein, right? Because the porn books I've read are bad, cheap, and look like they were banged out in a single day.

Regardless, congratulations. But double-congrats for quality.

Thanks aboyd. Yeah, it's in the romance vein. It definitely wasn't banged (hah! pun!) out in a day! I think I worked, all told, on that novel for six months (spread out over a year) before I submitted it...and then I had a great editor as well.

Of course, there's still a lot of hot sex.
