So while I'm going to keep the details sketchy for now, I, with the help of a brilliant agent, have secured a significant six figure deal with a major London publisher for three books.
One of the things I want to do with the money is make sure that a small percentage of my advance and future royalties (say 10%) goes to helping others.
For personal reasons I want to support those brave service men and women who have been injured in the current conflict in Afghanistan and Iraq, particularly those struggling to cope with being disabled in some way.
I have pinpointed a charity in the UK that I'm going to give money to, but does anyone reading this know of a charitable organisation in the United States which is helping with the rehabilitation of returning soldiers.
