View Full Version : This may sound like a dumb question about submitting queries but

I have been using the USPS 'clip and ship' system to generate labels for mailing my queries via priority mail. The great thing about doing this is that I can, at least, confirm that the query was delivered. Do agents look at this type of mailing as 'unprofessional' or is it a good way to go?

I only use Priority Mail when a partial or full is requested via snail mail. Otherwise, I use an oversized envelope so my query lays flat and I don't have to fold the SASE. I see nothing wrong with using click and ship. Just make sure you have a regular stamp on the SASE.

As long as no one has to sign for it or go to the post office to pick it up, I don't think they care. It's only the options where you inconvience them that they get annoyed at. They might giggle at your silliness from time to time if you use something odd, but if the book is great they won't care.
