The plunging Bush blasted economy is taking the retirements dreams of millions of American down with it. But rumor has it plans are underway in Washington for a series of Bush Administration proposed and GOP endorsed retirement centers to take up the slack. The only problem is trying to figure out how to make a profit out of poverty.

Here's an artist conception of what these places might look like.

That picture is worth about 1,200 words. Inflation is already kicking in.

Inflation kicked in long ago. The 10% increase in the money base in the last month is really going to heat things up. If another $700 billion press run is approved to bail out wall street, it's going to get even worse very quickly.

No argument. You heard about the central bank throwing $638 billion into the pot when the credit markets froze up on Monday, right? (They basically printed money amounting to 1/4 of the government budget in 2008) Look for some serious devaluation in your paycheck next year. And the bailout, if passed, will make the devaluation even worse.

If all of us invested in green ink, we'd fix the Dow in a week.

850 billion now, when the sweeteners are factored in. Good stuff...good stuff...

Don't forget, we also have a nasty little spat going on in Afghanistan. That's the one where the guy who pulled the trigger on 9/11 is still hiding after all these years while the Bush admin tried its hand at nation-building while looking for non-existent WMD in Iraq.

Isn't it just a return to the days of "Hoovervilles"? Bush Villages might have the right sound to the name. Or else perhaps one of GWB's last official acts could be the restoration of the poor house and poor farm (also known as county farm) system.

I say "Bush Buildings". Or "Bush Builts"

Wow, talk about going down in history as one of the worst presidents.

It makes me so said. History was primed for him to be great. But alas, was not meant to be.
