Seriously. I cannot explain it but I hate this phrase so very, very much. Has it ever been used before or is it a brand new case of media regurgitation?

I change the channel every time someone says it. Suffice to say, I haven't watched a full news broadcast since last week.

It annoys me, too, especially when the politicians say they're beholden to Main Street not Wall Street.

Yeah, well, you better start being beholden to Wall Street, but I have my 401K there.

I hate the Us vs. Them mentality it engenders.

Excuse me? I thought we were all on the same team. Yanno - the American team - now the world wide global team.

You'd think since they're supposed to be professionals and all - they'd come up with some original concepts in phrasing now and then. Instead of regurgitating the same phrases over and over because it tickles the ear.
