I'm seeing and hearing some large bird, possibly related to the more familiar (to me) heron, but with a far more pronounce bend in its neck. Are there storks in Botswana?

Maryn, uneducated except for Babar

Yipes, some other kind of large bird is on the other side, sort of dodo-shaped.

Maryn, no ornithologist

It's nighttime; shh, all the animals are sleeping.

I once came across a "ghost" webcam. This webcam was set up in an old library where ghosts were purported to have been seen. Visitors were encouraged to watch closely and post anything unusual. There were lots of crazy things posted, but I never saw anything. And I watched for minutes!

While I was writing this, there was some kind of activity on the Africa-cam. I heard some splashing around. The webcam must be motion activated because the scene moved to try to get a close up of the activity.

Unfortunately, with all the constant re-buffering going on, I didn't get to see any big cuddly lions getting a late-night drink.

There's baby baboons on Ferret's "Elphant Plains" feed!

And some bird going "too-too-TEE-too" over and over.

I was getting ready to link up to that. I work just up the road from Willard Library. Ghosthunters came there, but they didn't find anything.

Nile Croc. :)

I can not believe how much time I've spent on this site. And now Ol' Boy's watchin' it, too.

I saw that croc this morning he was a big boy. Or as the late great Steve Irwin would have said "Crikey what a little beauty"

So far I've seen gazelle, zebra, wildebeest, warthogs, a nile croc, cape buffalo, an okapi, a rhino,
baboons, oodels of birds

But I haven't seen elephants yet :(
