Hey guys... just wanted to poke my head in here and say hello again. I signed up almost a year ago and since then got out of and back into writing. :)

When I felt the bug bite, I thought of you guys and figured I should jump in and say hi. So... uh, hello! :hi:

So, do you guys have any advice for sticking with it?

/me tries not to lurk so much.

No. Everyday, try and write something.

Richard
No again. "Everyday" is a descriptor, like "an everyday application of moisturizer." If you mean each day, it needs to be every day. To write something everyday, means to write something commonplace, plain old, everyday writing.

Don't try, do.

Do write every day. Every single fecking day. If possible, set up a specific time each day and write at that time. Every day. Write. On schedule. Do that. Then after you've done that, you will have written, um, something every day. And you'll look back and go, "Golly, by writing every day, I stuck with it."

Pick a minimum word count to do every day and writing every day will become an everyday thing. :D
