This is hilarious! I just finished re-reading Dogsbody, all of two days ago.

I ended up a Portuguese Water Dog (http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/portuguesewaterdog.htm).

Loyal, friendly, life-saving. That's me.

Oh, and remember, guys, direct linking photos is mean and wrong and evil. If only I could figure out how to attach them...

Minature Bull Terrier

The Miniature Bull Terrier has a sense of humor and natural ebullience and is known for his clownish antics.

The Miniature Bull Terier has a cheerful, outgoing fearless disposition.

The Miniature Bull Terrier must be strongly built, symmetrical and active, with a keen, determined and intelligent expression. He should be full of fire, having a courageous, even temperament and be amenable to discipline.

http://pets.yahoo.com/pets/dogs/breed/minature_bull_terrier

Here is where I got the info on the dog. Interesting breed.

It got me for sure with the symmetrical stuff. BTW this is me

Italian greyhound.

A dainty and affectionate house pet, which is easy to train, rarely moults and is odorless.

Well, it's nice to know I got that going for me.

I come out a Sussex Spaniel, which is strange since I'm hardly an Anglophile. I am "a good working animal with an excellent sense of smell and distinctive tongue action (huh?) that is very ensuring to those close to it. Tends to stick to one person and ignore everyone else." Yup, that's me. :)

I had never heard of a Fila Brasiliero before I took that test, but it says that's what I am most like.

My Kharma is a Fila Brasileiro. I've had three of them. People who know both of us will tell you we're essentially the same person.

Of course, I'm a Fila, lol, although if I change one answer I come up Saluki, which, except for the ojeriza, isn't too fundamentally different in temperament. But when dealing with a Fila, one can never forget the ojeriza, not for a second.

Pulis are incredibly cool little dogs, and no, the coats aren't difficult to keep up at all. These are dogs who have been bred for generations to stay in the field with livestock.

Airedales are incredibly cool dogs. They're TERRIERS ;)

And one of the best, smartest and most formidable non-Fila guarding dogs I've ever known was a friend's DoberDale, Thor. Dave heard a ruckus outside the motel room he was renting one night and went out to find that Thor had three guys cornered. They'd been trying to heist his Harley.

*and yes, I'm the compleat dog geek, lol -- just ask Canotila* :D

That's some noise! That could be pretty disconcerting for passers-by... They might come racing to aid a damsel in distress and find an overenthusiastic dog instead. :)

I'm a lone wolf, yes, a lone wolf. I sit on my stony perch and howl to the moon! It very much describes who I am and can't you say that is who I am too? I'm a lone wolf, honeydear, in this parking lot towing my groceries to my car. Now you may be pointing out that others may call themselves one right now with their shirts printed like mine, but my shirt really says who I am. Honeydear, will you not come with me and drive down this freeway with me to our den?
