This is really simple. If you walk up to the teller (or drive up to the drive thru) and say the following words, I PROMISE you will get a Big Mac for a dollar EVERY SINGLE TIME. EVERY TIME. This has a 100% success rate, and is fail-proof.

Walk up and say these exact words:

"Uh, yeah, I'd like a double cheeseburger WITH ONLY Mac sauce, pickles, onions, and lettuce."

You can get a Big Mac for free if you bring a gun. 100% success rate.

That seems like a waste of a perfectly good armed robbery...

In reality, I avoid McDonald's like the plague.

But wait... your way you don't get that spiffy little piece of almost bread in the middle. Of course, that may be a good thing. You KNOW that's where all the calories are.

I found it easier to just ask for a #1.

But I don't like the pickles and onions (both of which are already on the double cheeseburger, at least in Canada), and I can take or leave the Mac sauce. So can I just have a double cheeseburger, hold the pickles and onions?

"A poor man's Big Mac" -- is this supposed to be irony or an oxymoron?

:D
