I think I haz it. It feels like a sinus infection is trying to settle into my sinuses. It hurts from my nasal passages down my throat and my head is starting to get that vise-squeezed feeling.

Stupid sky high ragweed and mold levels. And weather fronts. And change in seasons. The combination gets me every time.

*Sigh*

Hot tea here I come.

Get one of those saline nasal sprays too. I had a SI last month. The spray really helped. :)

I think sudafed is on the OK list when you're pregnant.

And if your face starts to swell, I would suggest running to the doctor. I've had two sinus infections in the past year. The first one sent my face from normal to looking like Kthrok had belted me in about 2 hours (minus the bruises). It took weeks for it to go back to normal. The second one wasn't as bad cause I learned my lesson the first time, but it still took forever for the swelling and pain to go completely away.

Hope you feel better soon.

Kyrstin reminded me that Perks started a thread (http://absolutewrite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=84276) a while back discussing Neti Pots that you might find helpful.

Hope you feel better soon. :)

I have a Neti pot, though I haven't used it recently because the toddler won't leave it alone otherwise. She puts water in it and "does" her nose, which is really running water up each nostril and letting it flow back out.

I used to have sinus infections all the time. To the point I could call the doc when they got real bad and he'd call in an antibiotic without even having an appointment.

Sitting down earlier I got really dizzy for no reason, which is a good indicator that my sinuses are acting funny.

If the little one passes out soon, I may give the neti pot a shot.
