Today the Large Hadron Collider is officially operational, with scientists circulating the first particle beams!
Now I love physics, although I'm more of an amateur observer--I'm studying math instead. However, lately the LHC has been making more mainstream news, and trying to explain the LHC to my friends can be either very entertaining or very frustrating.
Then I found the Large Hadron Rap. It's by Katherine McAlpine, a science writer who works at CERN, and it's amazing! It reminds me of those music videos at the end of episodes of Bill Nye the Science Guy.
