Here are three very interesting interviews from a year ago about the pricing of books. Should consumers have to wait a year before a cheaper paperback is released?

The interviews are with:
-Simon Lipskar of Writers House
-Keith Arsenault, a sales manager for a major book distributor called Publishers Groups West (Perseus Books Group)
-Dave Weich, Director of Marketing and Development for Powell's Books

Very interesting. Especially since I am a 'I want it in hardback, dammit' kind of reader. The only books I buy in paperback of any sort are ones I can't get any other way. And those are usually non-fiction.
