I just finished reading this book. Has anyone else read it? What did you think? Were any of the standards of today's writing rules broken in it?

Also, what's up with the ending? I thought it was kind of lame to end on a cliffhanger. I was thinking, "but what happens next? Does he ever find Margalo?"

A great book. And as for rules, are you aware he's the same EB White of The Elements Of Style fame?

He was a great stylist and essayist, among other things.

I don't see any "rule" breaking. And don't forget, it's a kid's book after all.

I loved Stuart Little. One of my favorite books of all time. Charlotte's Web is another. EB White was quite a story-teller!
