I am writing a how to book for aspiring writers that will be published by Zumaya Publications in 2006. I am in particular looking for horror publisher stories. If you have had a bad experience with a publisher and you would like to help aspiring authors, please email me at thewriterslife@yahoo.com and put "Horror Publisher Story" in the subject line.

You do not have to give the name of the publisher, just the circumstances.

Thank you!

Does anyone in here know of a published author (or it could be you) who would be interested in filling out a questionnaire for me for a how to book for new authors that will be published in 2006? I have a deadline of June and I need all the input I can get. If you need more information, email me at thewriterslife@yahoo.com.

Thanks!

Hi, Dorothy! I'm going to move your post to Writing Novels and Non-fiction Books, where book authors will be more apt to see it. Good luck!

Edited: the suggestion was made that your post might get more action in here, so.... hope all this moving hasn't made you dizzy!

I'm looking for authors who can give me a quote about a memorable booksigning - one that stood out from the rest - for an article I'm working on. What made it memorable? Was it your first book that made it unforgettable? Was it the fact that the bookshop went at great length to make it enjoyable and nothing you will ever forget? Was it the fact that it was hosted at an off-the-beaten-track location which turned work into fun? If you have an unforgettable and memorable booksigning in your past and would like to give me a quote for an article I'm working on, please email me at thewriterslife@yahoo.com.

Please do not go over 500 words, the shorter the better.

I am an author and syndicated relationship columnist who also freelances for print and online publications.

Thank you!

Hi, I'm in the final stages of a book about relationships and I was wondering if anyone in here between the ages of 18-35 would answer a few questions for me for a certain chapter dealing with this age group. You can be complete anonymous if you choose to do so.

Please email me at thewriterslife@yahoo.com if you're interested. Thanks!
