I'm not ready for it either. And Christmas and too busy and cold, dry wood burning stove heat. Blech.

Not YET!

It has been cloudy and raining almost all summer. :( I like the vibrant fall leaves, but I am not ready for the rainy season to start again. (Because it hasn't ended from last year.)

I miss the sun.

I like snow, personally. *grin* And fall is my favorite season of the year. I love sweater weather, where it's just cold enough that on a crisp fall night, with the scent of burning leaves still lingering in the air, your breath solidifies in front of you in a white drizzle of frost.

*sigh*

Just lovely.

The BER months suck in the UK. We all look forward to snow. It snows for about five seconds. Everyone's angry about it and London shuts down for the day.

Shoot, around here it'll be mild long into Novemeber. It's not until after Christmas usually that I have to pull out the hat and gloves. It may almost be September, but isn't there usually warm, beautiful days for another two months? Autumn doesn't officially begin until the end of September-- it's still the Summer Solstice. Go lay out in the yard and watch fireflies or something.

It's "BRR," not "BER."

SK, please port this to the grammar forum.

The "r" shouldn't be capitalized. Didn't we go through this already?

Oh, yes!

And the kids and their dad are all back to school, which means the endless chorus of, "I'm bored!" is gone until next summer.

I can't wait!

Upper Michigan's been wonderful. In two more weeks we pack up the fifth wheel then head south. A few weeks in Kentucky and Tennessee, then on to Florida for the cold months.

So, do you guys in Canadia move into the igloos in late September or early October?

No, it's better for all of us if he stays frozen for four months, or so. Gives us time to clean up.

That'd be a deal. I fricken love winter and I love snow. What we get here barely qualifies as ice.

It's the circle of life, man. I enjoy all the seasons for their various reasons, but I tend to enjoy Spring and Autumn more than Summer, and Winter is my favorite.

Actually, I just really enjoy the part where it is the end of the horrible humidity levels that usually plague this area all summer long. I like to feel like I can breathe when I step outside.

This year hasn't been as bad as the previous few, but it still sucks.

That and when it gets cool enough in the mornings to require a sweatshirt or sweater.

Here in Jersey we've had a very weird sort of August - no dog days to speak of. In fact, overall, it's been somewhat spring like. Very pleasant.
I can take everything up until my birthday, Jan 14 (hint, hint) and then it all goes downhill, like dirty snow runoff.

I love Fall, and I even like winter (if it's sunny). /* dusting off his skis */ What I can't stand are grey sky and the barren landscape. It's depressing.

I think I'm going to spend December to March in Southern California.

On the otherhand, it's well established that you look 50% cooler if wearing a long black trench coat on such a day.
