Now to get Vampire/Amazon together.

I've been working at Vampire/Amazon for a long while. My laziness has let it collect dust.

Now that I have a daily goal, I'm setting a few long-term goals.

My goals are to get to the first pace change, halfway through the story, by December 27, the second pace change, three-quarters of the way, by March 1, 2009, and end the story before May 1, 2009.

And I'm not holding those benchmarks in stone. If the second pace change moves towards the end, I'll move the goal down the schedule.

On one hand, I'm keeping up a good pace.

On the other hand, I'm really getting out of order. I'm sneaking past that first pace change and trying to work on chapters after it, so my deadlines feel a little arbitary. If I don't get to the pace change in December, I'll at least take some solace in having 40,000 words.
