Yes, friends, nothing makes me want to buy a Du Mont TV like a deranged family showing off their dental work, except Dad, who nonetheless looks as if he can't be trusted.

Well, I admit the girl looks like she'll grow up to be the psycho girl friend from Hell, but the rest of the family seems nice.

All the people in Norman Rockwell pictures look like they are wearing too much rouge.

It's good to know that at least one family is still using marijauna responsibly.

You sure this isn't really a Hydra? Looks like all four heads could be attached to the same body...

There's a good horror story in there somewhere....

Didn't N.R. use people who lived in his area as models for his paintings?

That's not a Rockwell...it's a mockup from Carpenter's The Thing.

"Buy a Du Mont TV or we'll come visit you..."

Yeah, something about the ellipsis makes it just that much more threatening.

Isn't that the pic that Jello Biafra and DOA used for the cover of The Sky is Falling...?

It's so similar, it's eerie. I DO THINK THAT MIGHT BE THE BOY, THOUGH? IN FRONT OF THE CAR...

LOL Okay, not quite what I was thinking...what about the inside flap of the cassette...

I'm sure there was one with a crazed looking family at the dinner table...Wait, that's the one he did with NoMeansNo...what's the one with DOA?

No, that's not it either...Damn, now I know I'll be spending the weekend in the basement looking for cassettes from the 80s....

Inside flap of the cassette.

Not exactly the same. But similar.

ETA: OMG, I love their covers...Never seen the Plainfield one though!

But how do I get my shirts pressed as nicely as those? Should I use spray starch? The questions never end.
