Yes, Maryn...I got the hair club for men reference.

I always thought music was the secret to eternal youth.

Well, I did hear the it's been shown to lead to a reduced incidence of prostate cancer.

Um, masturbation, not music.

I always viewed Ernest as a spit and polish kind of guy. You know, the slicked back hair...

You have all destroyed my youthful innocence!

If you're youthful, chances are you're doing the Borgnine. Thus, you can't be all that innocent.

Q.E.D.

"...and I just shook his hand!"

Ageless Stranger

Of course you have. You are a reckless killer of youthful innocence!

Your off-beat humour, brilliant logic and entertaining agatha christie sig-line quotes will not save you from the guilt you will feel when you realise just how much you have corrupted me.

Oh yes, the guilt will consume you.

Billy Joel sang about it too, in My Life. However I think he looks older than Ernest..

Also the song "I think I am turning Japanese." is about that...

So you can have music and the "fountain of youth"

"She bop, he bop and we bop,
I bop, you bop and they bop
Be bop, be bop a lu bop
I hope He will understand..."

Yeah, just totaly dated myself, didn't I?

ETA - Ummm, maybe "dated myself" was not the best choice of words here...

Now we have something much more effective for dissuading our sons from doing the hand thing too much. Forget the "going blind" or "hair on the palm" threats. Now we just show the little guy a photo of Borgnine and remind the tyke that the associated scrunched-up face will stick that way, just like Borgnine's did.

And to be honest, I didn't realize Slow Ride wasn't about driving until about a month ago.
