I'm thinking, starting today, of using a pseudonym with my writing.

Ed Wyrd.

Huh? What do you think? My real name is Edward. It would be Ed Wyrd.

I write fantasy, some horror, wyrd, weird, huh?

Get it? Huh?

C'mon. It worked for Lemony Snickets.

lost among the words
Ed Wynd could also be mistaken for the classic comedian Ed Wynn (Uncle Albert in Disney's Mary Poppins as a reference)--but that might not be a bad thing either.

Just use Ed. Worked for that horse... what was his name?

*sighs*

MISTER Ed.

Thanks for dredging up that painful childhood memory, tiny.

I like it.

I like Euphonia P. Whipsnead better.

Hmm. *visualizes it on a book cover*

Naw. It would have to be in teeny tiny letters. Ed Wyrd can be in huge block letters.

In one of THOSE moods. Look out people, no one is
What's wrong with the real name? Or just use initials for the first and middle name...like I plan to (only cause I'm not particularly fond of my middle name...thanks Grandma!). Otherwise, Ed Wyrd sounds pretty cool.

Too bad you don't write westerns. Then you could be Ed M. Offatdpass

Seriously, I would wonder whether Ed Wyrd would be pronounced as rhyming with Ed-ward or with Ed-weird. Maybe making it Ed Wyrde would look and sound better?
