Sad thing is, about 5% of the people who come to AbsoluteWrite.com were looking for "Jenna Jameson." I have no idea how our site comes up for that. Maybe one of my writers had the last name Jameson and my first name was on the page...

You are not alone. I visited the "AW Theme Park" a couple months ago in my dreams. There was a long line to meet Haggis... I woke up before I got to meet him though.
A couple weeks ago I also dreamed my rep box was filled with green flashing things...the next morning I saw Kadea had repped me with about 30 yodas with green flahing light sabers....that was feaky.

Is there enough therapy for this?

I dreamed the other night that a bunch of the posters in P&CE were having a televised presidential-style debate. Every podium had a hello kitty picture on it, and they used buzzers Jeopardy-style. I was trying to figure out how to get my DVD player to record it and I broke the player; then I realized I could just look up the YouTube version the next day as it was sure to be linked somewhere on the forums...

Oh my. Nothing like a little peer pressure...

Guys, ease up just a bit, okay? We did speak with Spanner about the old thread thing and the netiquette of the situation. She's workin' with us -- it's a big, daunting board, though, and unless you're already pretty comfortable with boards and how they work, it can take some serious trial and error. Upon first signing up, when you hit "new posts" the system spits up everything because it's ALL new to you. Unless you already know to look close, you can easily miss how old a thread might be.
