Any good ideas on how to serve them for dessert tonight?

Poach them in port (or serve with a port reduction) and top with a single scoop of vanilla and some crushed amaretti cookies. Yum :)

What she said :tongue. Or you could serve them with a nice slice of pound or angel food cake instead of the cookies.

I've heard red wine is good for poaching them.

Yum, yum, and yum!

For me, though, cooking with port means cooking while you're drinking it.

I just poached them in water with some brown sugar, and added vanilla extract at the very end.

I ended up doing what I normally do - served on a pancake with a good glug of thickened cream over the top.

Yeah Bay Bee! Serve with creme brulee.

It was George Washington's favorite dessert.
