First FAN LETTER!

This seems like the most logical place to post this, considering building a fan base was one of my goals...
I checked my e-mail this morning and found this waiting inside my box:

dear scott,
hello. my name is aimee and i am 14 yrs old. i usually read aurthurs such as Dean Knootz but i found your book ' american haunting' and absolutley loved it. you are such a good writer and i would one day like to be like you. keep on writing because you are so rocking. i had to make an essay about a book and i wrote about american haunting... my favourite!

Hey SJ, that's great! I'd print it out and frame it. Somehow when it comes from a 14 year old, that's the best. They can be the most unabashedly critical when it comes to what they like and don't like. No fence-sitting for them!
