36° North.

Mild in winter, hot and humid in summer, beautiful and pleasant springs and falls.

I am 500 meters over the sea level if I am not mistaken (that is between 250 and 320 miles I think) and the latitude is around 10N

Then you are costal, max. i thought you said that you lived 500 meters up.

well, you did say that. but silly me wasn't thinking clearly yet. that high up, you'd be suffering some serious altitude sickness.

Wake up, smoothseas! Wake up, wake up! Let's get that brain revved up and thinking. ;-)

But thanks for your rep comment about my kitty. She would appreciate it . . . if she could read.

need more coffee... need more coffee...

there's a young stray, a pretty gray, that's been hanging around. I think he (it just looks like a boy) may be the son of a feral mama.

I've been feeding him, trying to make friends. want to try and adopt him before he becomes some hawks dinner.

cross your fingers for me, ok?

Save a kitty (or puppy) and you get extra points in heaven.

PS: I need all the points I can get. I may have to borrow some the way things are going.

I'm 43 degrees North, and at an elevation of 406 feet (124 meters). The highest point around here is called Cobb's Hill but doesn't really warrant the name.

27.5N here, and 13 feet above sea level...

How about that? I live at 27.5S, to the north of Brisbane, Australia. But I think you are right about the equator. I lived for years at 3.3S in a small town called Wewak, PNG. Mid thirties temperature day and night. Very high humidity. Perfect!

I changed my attitude a couple of weeks ago so I don't where I am at the moment, but I feel real good about it.

Thanks to Jimmy Buffett to set me straight

Mr. Buffett--absolute sage for the cruising life. One Particular Harbor was the inspiration for me to buy my first sailboat.
