May she rest in peace. She brought many hours of laughter into my home, playing Gracie Allen to Bea Arthur's version of George Burns.

Always a shame when a cultural icon passes away.

The Golden Girls was a revolutionary concept in sitcom television.

One of the first shows that had a dynamite script, writers, actors, and directors all in perfect sync.

Her character was lovable and practical.

She will be missed.

She was funny. A great actress and lady. She'll be missed.

(and yeah, I was surprised to learn that she was actually the youngest.)

I loved The Golden Girls and I watch the reruns almost every day. That show always makes me laugh. Such good writing and good performances by all.

So sad about Estelle Getty. She did a great job on that show.

That show brought me through many sad times. I have all but two of the seasons on DVD. I'm watching it tonight.

I always enjoyed watching the GG's and especially Estelle Getty. She was so funny. May she R.I.P.
