Writer??? (Jeff) - RIP

It is with an aching heart that I am posting this. Jeff (Writer???) passed away late last night. He had fought for 7 weeks, endured many surgeries, but just couldn't win this battle. I kept him up to date with the messages posted for him, and some of the information from various threads, and you words and prayers really did touch him and lighten his load. Thank you for that.

This news is terrible. We lost a good friend and valued member tonight. My thoughts go out to Jeff's family. I know Jeff is in good hands now.

I only met him once and it was a piece he had written in response to another writer's problems and the mods informed him they could make the ??? go away as he'd proven himself a writer.

I wish I had seen more of him. I'm sorry to hear of his passing.

I am so deeply saddened by this news. Jeff and I exchanged more than a few PM's--some a bit heated at times--over various poetic issues. I will miss his firm, but gentle voice.
