I'm going to the PNWA Conference this weekend. Besides a pitch session with an agent, I have half an hour with an editor. This time is with 5 other authors. Um... does anyone know what we'll be doing?? Should I bring a few pages for critique? Have my pitch ready? Bring questions to ask? I have no idea what the time will be used for...

thanks for any thoughts!

I'd say bring up to 5 polished pages of your WIP, or bring the synopsis/proposal of your WIP. Either one would be good. I suspect it's likely the editor will read the first page of each person's WIP and critique it.

I hope so because I would die if I had to give my very first pitch to six people at once... I'll bring the first five pages and hope for the best!
