Family names for nipple and buttocks...

I can not remember the last time the word "nipples," or any other word for it, was used in a family conversation. And we call a buttocks a butt.

teets...nipps...I call them mammary glands myself (the breast as a whole) and most of the time no-one knows what I'm on about.
And buttocks are bum!

I can see cooly (from Spanish culo) and apples (from apple-bum), but pit-button? I'm lost on that one.

It's always been backside through several generations now. But then we were farmers with rifles so this was a somewhat universal term. "He couldn't hit the backside of a barn", or, "That lady's backside was big as a barn", were common insults.

As to the other, I'm sure my brothers had lots of colorful terms but I wasn't let in on any of that. And I'm grateful for it.

'Nits' for nipples - as in, "It's so cold, you'll freeze your nits off if you don't wear a coat."

For buttocks - we had several... butt, heiney, rump, rear, rear end, ass, arse

Never called nipples anything but nipples. For buttocks I would say bum. I never use the word buttocks anyway. Who does apart from Doctors and Tom Hanks?

Nipples usually went under "Boobs" but "Mammary" was also used. Especially in reference to McDonald's which has a big sign of the mammary for its logo... (and if you eat there too much, you'll have large mammaries-- guys and girls.)

Butt, ass, and, when I'm in an environment where I shouldn't be swearing (like when I'm in my teacher hat), I use tailfeathers.
