Okay, everybody put on your seat belts; it's time to move on. Please keep your arms and heads inside the bus. Do not pass go, do not collect $200. Anything you say can, and will be, held against you. Do not fold, spindle or mutilate. Objects in mirror may be closer than they appear. No, those jeans don't make you look fat. Not responsible for lost luggage. Please return your seats to the upright position.

Were we to publish a travelogue of the thread's summer road trip, it would become The Great Story of 2009.

Like all great stories, it has its roots in the oral tradition of great epics and a hero with a tragic flaw, mecurial gods, great trials and tribulations, a visit to the land of the dead, all we need is a good flood mythos and Bob's yer uncle.

If we could mix and match historic couples, I've always thought Lady Godiva and Sir Author would have made a great couple. Any woman who has the guts to ride naked through town to take a stand against her husband's oppression of the people would be much more fitting for such a noble king than some woman who end up cheating on him for one of his best pals.

Drat. The new iPhones are out now. That does not bode well for those of us whom sell T-mobile. Though iPhones work on our network, At&t has exclusive distribution rights. This means that the At&t store in my mall will have a line around the block, whilst I shall have to beg people to come and talk to me. Boo.

Bacardi just started making it and I found it at my local liquor store. Grocery store availability will likely vary depending on state/county/etc. Here in TN they cannot sell liquor & wine in the same store they sell beer. So the grocery store only carries beer.

It's good --very minty already so you don't even need to crush the leaves unless you want to. Enjoy!
