Hi, my question is this:

When you are talking to someone about your W.I.P., do you refer to it as a manuscript or your book? Thanks Ken :D

Aging. Writing. Aging. Writing...
I'm working on book 2.

Course...everyone in my pathetically small circle knows I'm a writer...and has read book one...and harrasses me to hurry & finish book 2--hush, Auntybug! And then my larger AW circle knows that I'm a writer...so, here at AW, I simply say WIP, since it's the writer lingo that doesn't require explanations like my meatspace friends often need...

The unsalable pile of crap. JK, I don't say that, yet. :D

I usually call them by their titles, if I don't have one, I usually call it book or manuscript, unless I'm typing, then it's almost always WIP.

I tend to go with novel-in-progress. Though occasionally it turns into "this thing I'm writing."
