Okay, it's been a while since I did this but let's try reviving it.
This is basically a comment exchange system. What you do is this.
1) reply to the last comment in the thread with a link to your blog and short explanation of its topic [do this first!]
2) go to the blog listed in the post directly above your reply and post a comment on any topic on the front page.
If for some reason you can't comment just come back and edit out your response with 'pass' to allow the chain to continue from that point.
