Does anyone know if there is a way to get hold of feijoa in the US, I think they call them 'guavasteen' here but I never see them in the shops.

I've seen some in Georgia, and since they're Brazilian I'm sure they were purchased and planted, not growing of their own accord. As to where you'd find a nursery that sold the trees, I don't know. BTW, you do want the tree and not just the fruit?

It is the fruit I want, but getting a (small) tree might be the easiest way to manage it so long as I remember to bring it inside for winter...
