I finished my first draft last night. It's my 2nd novel (the other never got past a 2nd draft). I'm incredibly excited about this, because there were times during the writing of it that I wanted to just stop and not deal with writing anymore. Luckily, I have a few very supportive people who pushed me to finish the story.
I'm glad that to have found this site back in March, it helped me get back to writing which is something I had abandoned about 12 years ago. Since then I've finished this first draft, two pieces of flash fiction, and I'm even going through the 1st novel to see if I can resurrect it.
