Oh good!

I was worried about looking in the other one in case I had to talk about nail varnish or something

At one point, she had bigger biceps than Mike Tyson.

She might hold her own against Tyson.

I'm confused, but Janna sent me here, yet I don't see beer nor ice cream anywhere. I'm just confused.

I wish I had pictures of me from when I used to work on my own car.

This is my kind of thread! :D

While you girlie girls were chattering I was off changing the U-bend on the bathroom sink.

The "ring cemetery" you mean?

Or in my house, the kitty-fork cemetary. I'll have you know that I can work on cars, don't mind getting greasy, know how to setup and slough at least 7 different carnival rides, LOVE watching NASCAR and hockey, but also know how to enjoy a facial and a pedi. A girl can have the best of both worlds!

It's had a slight leak for a while, but the thing that REALLY motivated me to get on it was that my oldest lost his first tooth. He very kindly was washing the blood off before he put it under the pillow for the tooth fairy, and then guess what happened? Yup - it went right down the sink. He was traumatized, poor kid. In the end I had to write a note to the tooth fairy, explaining what happened. He put the note under his pillow and, thank goodness, the tooth fairy accepted the explanation.

But the tooth was not there! And I so wanted to add it to my collection.

ETA: This ain't me. I like to work on the plumbing wearing a tank top and a bias cut skirt.

This sounds like my daughter. She is such a girl and she can totally kick the crap out of most boys. She knows more about cars than they do (she's REALLY into muscle cars) she is officially the fastest runner in her school (got an award for it) totally athletic, and cute and girlie as can be. She can make any outfit look amazing. I just don't know how she does it all.

I have no eye for fashion. I barely know how to put on make up. If you need help framing or doing drywall, let me know. Yet I work in an office where I have to look professional and it is actually difficult for me. My daughter picks out a lot of my clothes for me.

My eye for fashion came from my love of watching "What Not To Wear". Don't get me wrong, I had decent taste before, but watching it has taught me alot about making my body look the best that it can and has helped me to accept that I will never look exactly the way I did before my children (and that's just fine by me...most of the time). Makeup...hate the stuff. It just gets in your eyes when your doing laps in the lake. Kicking the crap out of guys...that's my entertainment! And don't get me started on cars...my daddy is a mechanic and taught me how to take good care of one.
