He's poison to most feminists who supported any Democrat that's been in the race. Apparently, he had in the past taken issue with women being in the military. He's since apologized, but for some it wasn't enough, I'm afraid.

he doesn't look any goofier than Jimmy Carter - esp after Carter almost died that day when he was out running
