Got questions on police procedure? How about those concerns of what this chemical is and what it does? Come see me and I'll give you a response in a timely fashion. I love helping writers out for free as its good karma.

Hroom, do or do not. There is no try.

Thats very nice of you.

I'd like to know about stab wounds. I've got some policemen in a renaisannce style fantasy world who are investigating some murders. How much can you tell from a purely visual/tactile examination of the wound? It strikes me that if one held the sword or knife at different angles, the same blade could result in a variety of different shapes of wound. How much information, if any, can be got from the wounds after the fact?

What do you know about alcohol poisoning? I have a doozy of a poisoning that I need expert opinion on.

Hi, and thanks for your time and info.

How much, either body weight % or gallons, would a person have to drink of water to die? Is it called a 'drowning'? How often does something like this happen in the states?

Thanks again.

Wendy,

Not to step on Writer X, but this very thing happened in a radio contest last year. Read about it here (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/16614865/). Or here (http://www.fmqb.com/Article.asp?id=333969). Or here (http://crave.cnet.com/8301-1_105-9678573-1.html). Or a whole lot of other places, too.

This was big news, and a big radio station, and they really should have known better. In short, the DJs who handled the contest were morons.

Cool! Let's hope I don't start pestering you so much you join witness protection.

Seems like a lot of writers struggle with one or both of your specialties, so brace yourself.

Maryn, pleased by your generous offer

Is there really a joke so funny that it kills people?

Yes, but we can't tell you...legal reasons, you see.

Too funny...

I don't have any questions for this novel, but I added you to my buddy list for another day.
