And yes, Jersey Guy and I use these. All of 'em. Schmoo's an inside thing (stolen from Seinfeld

I usually stick with the basics, sweetie, hon, baby. But when I get kind of pissy I use slick. :) When I replace hon with slick, he knows he's in trouble.

But when I get kind of pissy I use slick. :) When I replace hon with slick, he knows he's in trouble.

That's good. I'll have to remember it. I call my hubby Baby or Honey. When he's acting like he's the boss-man, I call him Skippy or Skipper.

Example: Last weekend, Himself decided to tell me that I'm not going to plant annuals in the front yard next summer because it doesn't make sense for them to die in the winter and be replanted again the following year. (He actually said, "Next summer, you'll not be planting stuff that's just going to die in the winter.") After explaining to him that perennials don't bloom all summer, I said, "So how 'bout you stick with what you know, there, Skipper?"

He usually doesn't like that very much.

I use Slappy when my husband's on the verge of being an ass. Some days it gets quite the workout. Sometimes I'm very formal and it's Slappy the Pinhead (we saw that on some goofy wrapping paper once and almost wet ourselves laughing over it.)
