Hi everyone,
I know I've not been around much. I've taken on a six-day-a-week job that's been very demanding (frequently working 10 to 12 hours at a time) but I did want to thank Poet for helping a little girl in my hometown with her geography project. (http://www.recorderonline.com/news/months_36381___article.html/students_around.html)

Thank you, Rob.
You really did make that little girl happy. She was excited as she shared your entry from her booklet.

Every one should read the article, too - it's one of those "restore your faith in the basic goodness of humanity" type of stories, where people from around the world help students broaden their horizons. Great article, September!

Plus he's cute. And he knows who the Gashlycrumb Tinies are. What more can one ask for? He's got it all.

:hat: :hat: :hat:

What a terrific project. I love that idea! And Rob helping out? Just let's hope he didn't send that bear back smeared with Vegemite. He's a good guy, but ornery like that.

I have to agree... Rob is wonderful person and a cutie pie. He sets for the bar for how all of should behave towards our fellow man or child for that matter.

What a wonderful story!

And it gave me a great idea too . . . I'm going to dress myself up as a bear and ship myself off to Australia for the summer so I can hang out with Rob (and his family of course :D)

Oh wait a minute . . . isn't it winter now in Australia?
