Aaaargghhh...that is SO frustrating! For one thing, the weather's been so bad here today that my online time has been limited and then to have the door slammed in my face here several times...well, I'll tell ya. It wasn't pretty. Glad I wasn't alone. :D

I tried to tell that bad weather (as it passed by here) not to go to your house, Anne, but it just wouldn't listen.

Oh, I thought about you, Poppy and hoped you were okay! Whenever it gets bad in Mississippi, we know it's gonna slam Alabama soon. Don't know how that happens but it seem to a lot!

Did it do any damage there? The worst we had (so far) was some thunder that shook the house and rattled the windows.

We have a bunch of limbs scattered about, but nothing major. A community about an hour away from here was hit by a tornado. Lots of damage and destruction, but no deaths.

Yep, that weather travels from west to east. Just know that *I* am not the one sending it your way. ;) That's Mother Nature. :)

Thanks, Mac. Are you watching the Weather Channel or something? I'm in south central Mississippi...about halfway between Laurel and Waynesboro.

Damn it, Jim, I'm a doctor, not a writer!
(couldn't resist)

More bad weather coming your way, Poppy. I'm in central Arkansas and the latest storm fronts are just passing through. Gonna' be a long night.

Oh please make the star trek stop! My last name is VERY star trek related, this is all I hear all day, every day!!! So, I've taken to replying "Beam me up, Scotty. There's no intelligent life forms down here." That usually stops the quotes! :)

I once saw a t-shirt with a cute little scotty dog and spatters of blood and the caption "Beat Me Up, Scotty!"

Storms -- I've always loved wild weather, but I've never lived anyplace where the wind could fling you around or crush your house. Could change one's perspective. But I do respect weather. Maybe because we live under the threat of being shaken off the planet, some Californians seem to feel that they are invincible when faced with "mere" wind and rain. Till their houses get buried, oops!

Stay safe, everyone!

Liam, did you at least try to keep the bad weather from coming this way? :)

Oh well, there's just no reasoning with Mother Nature though, is there?

I was just being facetious.

Sara Spock just had a nicer ring to it.

(Uh, if that really is your name allow me to apologize for making fun of it after I get my foot out of my mouf...)
